A Midsummer Night's Dream... on a Friday afternoon
Over 40 of our KS3 students enjoyed a trip to see A Midsummer Night's Dream performed by The Duke's Theatre Company at Spring Cottage in Rivington. One of the Bard's best loved comedies, the play was full of slapstick humour and had the students gripped.
Students enjoyed a picnic on the lawns whilst watching the show and other guests commented on how lovely it was to see students enjoying Shakespeare in this way. We can't wait to get back to enjoying even more live theatre next year!
